Arlington
As you know we went to Arlington, TX two weekends ago and competed in a softball tournament. I attempted to play but had to sit out our last two due to my knee. I didnt really have any trouble running/hopping to the base but found it difficult to stop at second when I hit doubles. I eventually decided to sit the games out as I felt my handicap was more detrimental to the team than beneficial. We lost both of the games I didnt play in, eliminated in third place. Who knows how we would have fared with myself in the line up.... All I know is I had a good weekend, regardless of what we placed. We were not able to defend our title but I think with a healthy knee next year we can win it again. Have a good week.

Rehab
Well rehab on my knee has been going well. I see my physical therapist again at 2 today. My swelling has gone down a little bit but will swell back up after I work out with it. I do have permission to do whatever physical activity I can tolerate, the only thing is when I see my orthopedic surgeon the swelling needs to be down so he can see if everything is heeling properly. I will keep you posted. I plan on playing in a softball tournament this weekend, we will see how that goes, lol.

And there goes my knee again
Sorry its been awhile but Ive been dealing with a knee injury. I dislocated my knee last Tuesday in an intramural soccer game. I had to put my knee back in place myself because none of the staff at the Heskett didnt want to nor did they even want to. Actually they all turned around as I was doing it, lol. Since I have done this 6 times I have become accustomed to recovery and life without a leg. The only problem I have is with work, it is difficult to show my clients exercises without the ability to bend my leg. Ive been trying to stay in shape by swimming, if I did absolutely nothing I would get a big gut in about 2 weeks. I have to head to work now, I will post again soon.

Mowing/Lake Season
Wow, the weather has taken a turn for the better and this means I can start mowing again. I mow as a side job just to earn a little extra cash during the summer. I only have a couple of yards that I mow now but am looking for a couple more.
I cant wait for the lake water to warm up so I can start skiing and wakeboarding again. I live for the lake and boating. I like going to tablerock the most but if we stay in town and dont want to drive 5 and half hours we go to either cheney or el dorado. I hope to get out there soon.

Spring Break 2010
As much as I want to say I am doing something fun and exciting for spring break I just cant seem to bring myself to lie to you. None of my friends were really up to go to anywhere like a beach or something, plus I really dont have the money at the moment. A few of us are going up to Kansas City for two nights and staying at Harrah's Casino. I plan on making a lot of money during the course of this gambling trip so I can go to a beach this summer, lol.
But so far I've been able to sleep in everyday and have been loving every minute of it. I do wish the weather was a little nicer out during the break so I can feel like I am at a beach somewhere with perfect weather. In case you couldnt tell I am really regretting not setting up any big spring break plans at a beach. I do get to look forward to a 1 week trip to Puerto Rico and a 3 week trip to San Diego this summer. Hopefully these two trips make up for a boring spring break 2010.

Its my birthday
So I celebrated my 21st birthday last weekend and I not stopped celebrating since, lol. I have finally joined the big kids club and it has been a long time coming as I was one of the last of my close friends to gain membership to this particular club. I have had great experiences downtown expect for last night when my keys were stolen out of my jacket. Fortunately I had a spare key but I am still upset about it. I will probably not go to Americas Pub for awhile now. But I need to catch up on some sleep. I will try to post again soon.
Take care

Busy Busy Busy
Sorry its been so long, I have been busy getting everything situated not only with the new apartment but with this hectic new semester. I have literally have had zero down time since my new increase in work hours. This have been going well, my career at the YMCA is starting to pick up and am building up my clientele base. My immediate goal is to have 20 hours a week of paid clients. My hourly rate almost doubles when I am working with paying clients versus working with those who are using their 4 free training sessions with new membership.
School is going well for me, my classes are not the most interesting but I need them to graduate so I cant slack off and must take them seriously. I am off to my statistics class now. Will post again soon.
