Christmas Time
Hey all, hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and is currently preparing for the new year. I had a great christmas; spent time with family and got some new clothes. My break so far has consisted of 3 main things: sleeping, eating, and working. I really have done nothing besides those 3 things. I have been working this break since I dont work much during the semester. Next semester I am enrolled in 16 hours and will be working 15-18 hours a week. I am still at the YMCA as a personal trainer and loving every bit of it. I love being able to make my appointments around my schedule. I plan on staying with the Y at least until I graduate and possibly for a little while after that as well.

A Long Awaited Break
Sorry for not posting on here recently, I have been busy and blogging, although does not take much time, was put on the bottom of my to do list. Now that it is officially break and I dont have school for a whole month, I will be able to keep you more up to date on what is happening in my life.
With that said, my grades this semester did not turn out exactly like I had hoped. I had 5 A's going in the finals and ended up with 3 B's and 2 A's. Now that Physical Therapy School is out of the question, at least in the near future, my main goal is to just graduate in four years and keep a 3.0 GPA to retain my scholarship. This will be the first time in two semesters I will not be making the the Dean's Honor Roll. Regardless, I am still happy with the way my grades turned out.
More to come soon.

Thanksgiving Break
Hey all. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving; I know I did. I went over to my Aunts house, ate too much great food, watched football, and napped all day. My sister was in town, which pretty much made my break, it had been too long since I had seen or talked to her. Needless to say, I had a good time with family this weekend.
Sunday night I was reluctant to study for my Motor Learning test but sucked it up and aced the test yesterday. I have two papers due tomorrow and a busy rest of the day. Its 1 now and I have class at 4, SAS meeting at 530, and a volleyball game v Beta at 8. We will see how these papers turn out. Wish me luck.
I hope you all had a great break. Finish school strong, we only have 2 weeks left.

PHOENIX
So I am sitting in my hotel room now in Phoenix wishing I was playing in the championship game later this afternoon. We did not advance out of pool play by one point. We played James Madison, UCLA, and Iowa State. I, once again, was sitting out with injury. I played in the first game and half of the second before coming out with a quad injury. I feel like I should stop playing but I don't really know what I would do if I didn't. My entire left leg is braced up, and can barely walk right now. I am coming back home after the championship game and will be in Wichita sometime around noon tomorrow.
Phoenix is an absolutely amazing city, it is 70 and sunny. We laid out by the pool all day yesterday in late NOVEMBER. Now how often do you get to do that in Kansas? Downtown was beautiful as well. Phoenix has quickly become one of my new favorite cities.
Pictures and more are soon to come.

Finally, A Weekend to Myself
For the first time in 2 months or so, I will be staying home for an entire weekend. You have no idea how long I have awaited a relaxing weekend to myself, haha. I will be catching up on some homework this weekend as I have fallen behind with all these soccer trips. I have increased respect for the student athletes who are able to keep up on their studies. I have 3 projects/presentations due within the next 2 weeks and have not started any of them. I have A's in all of my classes so they should not be too bad. Let me know how your semester is going?

Manhattan
After two days of tournament play, your boys from Wichita State have made it to the Semi's. We play tomorrow at 9 against an undefeated Missouri team. We will need all the help we can. We beat Arkansas today 4-0 and St. Louis 2-1 yesterday.

Halloween should be fun down in aggieville. Getting ready to go out, here is a pic of my costume.

Have a fun and safe Halloween

Go Chiefs
Haha, this past Sunday myself and a few others went to Kansas City to watch the Chiefs get manhandled by the San Diego Chargers at Arrowhead Stadium. This was the first game this season I have been able to make and the first time I had personally seen the new renovations to Arrowhead. We left Wichita at 6 a.m. so we could tailgate and arrived at our destination just before 9; shortly following our arrival the fun began. We parked in the most expensive lot, where the best tailgating occurs and met some crazy fans who really go all out for every home game. These fans traveled from Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Missouri, and we even met a group from California. We walked around the lot sampling food from everyone, comparing different burgers, dogs, brats, chili, and even steaks. Needless to say, I was absolutely stuffed by the time we entered the stadium.
Being the poor college students that we are, we purchased tickets on the third tier. The stadium was packed so moving closer was difficult. Before the second half, like a gift from God, it started to rain. Within ten minutes of the rain, I was on the front row with my shirt off, drawing the attention of ALL the camera men. I must have made the jumbotron three times. Being so close was a lot of fun, but would have gladly stayed in my purchased seats in exchange for a Chiefs win. We stuck it out until the end of the game. The ride home was wet and miserable but was well worth it.
Our soccer team placed first in our region giving us the number one seed going into regionals. I will be in Manhattan next weekend for the tournament. We are leaving Friday afternoon. Wish us luck. I will let you know how we fare next week.

Crunch Time
Well, now that two of my trips are out of the way, its time for me to start focussing on some school work. Up until this point I really havent had very much to do in any of my classes, and have only had to pull one all-nighter. This week will be crazy as I have 2 tests and 3 projects to work on. My schedule with soccer will be getting pretty busy and need to get the projects done before I leave for both regionals and nationals. Regionals is the 30th through the 1st in Manhattan, KS and nationals is November 18th through the 22 in Phoenix, AR. I am reading chapters for my Men and Masculinities class now, will post again soon.

Midterms
We are now approaching the half-way point of the semester and midterms are upon us. I have one tomorrow in my Prescription to Exercise. This one will be difficult as I do not know what his tests are like because we haven't had any. In fact, we have only done two labs so far. The grade for this class relies solely on how I do on the midterm and final. I really need to go study some more.
I am going to Arkansas this weekend, Illinois the following, and Manhattan the next. I will let you know how these trips turn out.

Soccer vs K-State
Friday we had a home soccer game against rival K-State. We dominated the game, despite all of the rainfall. We quickly went up 2-0 in the first half, then the rain started pouring. It was miserable being on the sideline, I am out for a few more weeks with an ankle injury. I have not been to the doctor but I am pretty sure I dislocated it. It began to get real cold just standing there. We had 5 starters out this game with injuries. So the second half began and we continued to dominate, scored another goal then started to show signs of fatigue. With our bench not being very deep due to injuries our players did not get much rest. We broke down multiple times on defense but managed to hold them to only one goal. We have improved to 3-0 in the league and are looking to to head into regionals with a high seed. We play KU today. Wish us luck.

Weekend/Tests
So this weekend was so busy with soccer and football games that I had little time to study for my 3 tests I had on Monday. This weekend we went to Columbia, MO to play soccer on Saturday. With it being over a 5 hour drive we left Friday night. I went to the SigEp house there and had a good time with them. We played Truman University Sat afternoon and beat them 3-0. We then left for KC and went to a Wizards game. Stayed the night in KC with my sisters, went to the Chiefs game, then made it home late Sunday afternoon. Started studying around 10pm, went to bed after 7am, then after 1 hour of sleep took three tests then went to work, then meeting, then out. Crazy day... lol. Well I have to get to class. Later

WSU Soccer
Our game vs OSU did not go as well as we wanted. It was just a pre-season game so I am not worried about it. We blew a 2-1 lead and lost 3-2. One of our starters went down with a knee injury and might be out for the season. All will be well with me in the backfield though, lol. We play Washburn tomorrow afternoon and hope to start out the season with a W.
Quick summary of my life:
School is going fine so far. 18 hours is quit the workload but I am managing. I just transfered to East branch YMCA so working again will not be very much fun. I still do not have a car, so getting to work will impose a problem. I am glad I have 100 SigEp brothers I can rely on. Going to a BBQ now so will write again soon.

Intramural Softball
This week was the first week for intramurals and with the first sport being softball; I am pumped. We lost a bunch of seniors and have a promising group of freshmen. They are still learning the ropes of softball, but keep slipping back into their old baseball habits. We lost our first game to Phi Delt by one run in the third extra inning. We did win our second game 18-2 vs Kappa Sigma tho. I hit a grand slam in the last inning. We will be playing Phi Delt again next week and I will let you know how it goes. We will have practice this weekend, hopefully it pays off.
I will be in Stillwater, OK this weekend for a soccer game against OSU. I will let you know how that goes as well.
Have a good weekend,

School so far...
This semester will be an interesting one as I will be taking 18 credit hours and spending countless hours involved with SAS, SigEp, Deans Scholars, Deans Dozen, ACE, and WSU soccer. I basically quit my job at the YMCA as I know for a fact I will not have time to work. Fortunately for me, the job will still be there when I have some free time; in other words, when soccer is finished. I have been pretty stressed so far but feel confident in my ability to be successful this semester. I am taking a few easy courses as well many difficult ones. I will let you know how the semester is going once we get further along with the semester.
Sorry for the delay with pictures of cali and stampede but they will be uploaded soon.
How are your classes going this semester???

The California Experience
California, needless to say, has been a fun adventurous experience. My trip started with flight delays and an eventual flight change. It then took yet another turn downhill in LA when I waited at baggage claim for my suitcase to supposedly show up. My luggage was shipped to San Jose but had United hand deliver it to me at the house I was staying at. After all this, one would only think that it could only go up hill from here...
With the poor start to the trip out of the way, things started to pick up. I began to frequent Pismo, Avilla, and Shell beach. Pismo is where I spent most of my time taking volleyball lessons from a retired AVP pro, surfing, and just laying out. I played volleyball everyday I was in San Luis Obispo. I met a few A players, and they started calling me to come up and play with them. After a week in San Luis I decided to road trip to Santa Barbara to see a friend for the weekend.
Santa Barbara is probably one of my favorite cities, despite wrecking a vehicle on Saturday. The wreck basically ruined the rest of the weekend but was still very amazed at what the city offered. That weekend just so happened to be Santa Barbara's annual Fiesta. There were Mexican parades down main street, dozens of confetti eggs, and sombrero shops at every street corner. I am not really sure what Fiesta is all about; I asked my buddy, who had lived there his whole life, and he could not even tell me why the city has this Fiesta festival every year. He just uses the weekend as an excuse to party. My weekend, unfortunately, was cut short and I had to find a ride back up to San Luis as the car I wrecked was deemed not drivable. I have tried my best to make this as small of a hassle as possible for him, but my efforts can only go so far when he has to deal with the insurance company.
I have been staying in Santa Cruz since Tuesday and fly out today for Denver. Santa Cruz is very different from San Luis in that the volleyball sucks. haha. I was unable to find any decent players that were willing to pick me up, even before they saw me play. To make up for the lacking volleyball was downtown. Downtown Santa Cruz is something short of spectacular. Shops, restaurants, clubs, and theaters are just a few things the downtown area has to offer. There was even a live band Friday night. I have definitely enjoyed my trip in California and my stay at each city. Each had their own strengths which really helped me to live the full Cali experience. I have already started to plan my next trip. Well, we leave for the airport in 2 hours and I still need to eat and pack. I will post some pictures soon.
Hope everyone had a great summer. I dont know about you but I am excited for school to start up again. Have a good one.

Denver Airport Delays
I am currently stuck in the Denver airport waiting for my flight that was supposed to leave at 11:15. It has been delayed 4 times and moved back 5 hours. We arrived at the airport around 8:30 and wont be leaving until 4:00, pending the flight does not get delayed once again. The weather out is perfect too. The last train out of San Jose leaves at 3:45, so I would not be arriving in time. So to make the long story short I am flying into LA and the LAX airport and am going to stay with a friend until I get a train up to San Luis Obispo. This whole thing has been a big mess and I am just ready to get to Cali.
Last night in Denver was pretty fun. It was one of my SigEp brothers' 26th birthday. He had a few people over at his place in downtown Denver for awhile, then we headed out to the clubs. It was a fun experience as Denver's nightlife is nothing like Wichita's. I am finally about to board, I will let you know how LA is soon...

Summer Vacations
Hey all... Hope you are having a fun and eventful summer.
My summer has just been mediocre so far but it is about to all change. I have traveled to Kansas City and thats about it. KC is a fun town and I had a blast visiting my sister there but it will not even be close to the trip I have planned for the first 3 weeks in August; I am going to California. I am flying out of Denver (to visit friends) on Aug 1 and returning Aug 17. I will be staying the first week and a half in San Luis Obispo and the rest of the time in Santa Cruz. Each destination will be about 10 minutes from the beach; which I would consider my dream destination and desired location for my future retirement. My excitement is growing with each day as this means it is one day closer to my departure. I will be sure to post pictures and blog a few times while there.
What kind of trips have you all been on this summer???

Grade Change/ Summer Blogging
I do have some good news, there was an error in the grading system for my macro economics class and I ended up with a B instead of a C. This change bumped my semester G.P.A. to a 3.5, much better than a 3.25. With the summer in full force and my time limited; I will not be blogging as much as I had in the past. I wish you to still visit my site but I just don't want you to get upset when there hasn't been a post for 2 weeks. I do have a few vacations planned around my 3 job work schedule and will post pictures and tell stories of those, obviously, after they have occurred. If you have any questions for me please feel free to contact me by simply replying to a post. I hope you all have an amazing summer and I look forward to hearing from you guys.

Final Grades
I know it's been awhile but I was studying instead of blogging these past few weeks. I finished school on the 14th and have either been out of town (Chicago), or sleeping. 2 of my classes were borderline and took a turn for the worse after the final, even though I studied long hours for them. I can't be too mad at myself earning a 3.25 GPA, but knew I definitely could have done better. I need to do better if I am going to get into PT school. Anyways, are there any high school seniors reading this that are coming to WSU? You can ask me if you need help picking out your classes for the fall semester. I will make sure to respond in a timely manner.

Crunch Time
With the end so close I feel like just setting the cruise control and riding out the remainder of the semester. I know this would not be a good idea as my grades are all borderline. One relief is I have over a 100 percent in one of my communications courses and don't have to take the final. On the flip side I have 2 quizzes left to finish off this week and a final in History on Monday. This class is my main concern as I just a few points away from an A. I think my other finals are the week after so I will have a little bit of a break at least. Well I need to go and study now, will post more.

SigEp Softball Champs
W0w, WSU SigEps just won the SigEp tri-state tournament this weekend. If you want to catch a glimpse of just how spectacular this feat was... we beat an alumni team who had never lost a tri-state game EVER. Since this team entered the tournament 8 years ago they had brought home the championship trophy every year; we beat them twice this weekend. We were the first undergrad team to win this tournament in the 34 years its been hosted for. Anyways...
The SigEps in Arlington, TX host a softball tournament each year to support Youth AIDS and we have gone the last 3 years. It is so much fun, last year we rented an RV and rode down there but this year we just drove. On the way back, I was driving and a tire blew out, that was fun. I am sure this doesnt make any sense as I am thoroughly exhausted so I will log off now but will post more about the trip and some pics another day.

I demand a recount...
If I seem a little upset in this blog, it would because I am. Our supposed 1st place hippodrome performance took 3rd. We had the best dances, the best story line, and the best sets according to non SigEp affiliates. The judges thought otherwise, we took 3rd place in every single one of those categories. We did not win because we did not borrow professionally made sets and/or use an already existing storyline, changing only a few minute details. Originality definitely set us back since we made our own sets from scratch, came up with a script all on our own, and had really awesome dances. O well, I had fun with the whole event. Made some good friends and some great memories. I have to go plan our trip to Arlington for next week now...later

Cooperative Education = Awesome
As many of you know I am a personal trainer at the Northwest YMCA. I achieved this much desired position through the cooperative education program Wichita State offers. WSU has the largest Co-Op program in the state, meaning more available on-the-job training for you. Not only an I getting paid but also earning college credit. After the semester and Co-Op position is over with, I will continue to work for the Y. So after you high school students graduate I want you to do three things: come to WSU, join SigEp, and get a job through co-op. Thats all.

Easter Sunday!
Easter Sunday is usually a day of relaxation and celebration and that is exactly what I did. I woke up early and celebrated the resurrection of our Lord then relaxed at Grandmas in Derby. I had a great day, as I was able to spend it with my sister, her boyfriend, and cousins who all came into town. My sister, a senior at Pitt State, is probably the coolest person in the world, lol. No, but I really do love it when she comes and visits. I try to go up there as much as I can to see her but hippodrome leaves me too worn out by the weekend to travel anywhere; only six more days, OH YEAH! Anyways, Easter for me was taking a several naps, watching the Masters, and eating lots of food. What a great day!
Since my sister just left to head back to Pitt and I am finishing up this blog, I guess it is time to do some homework. Will write more next week.

Classes this Semester
My classes this semester are going really well. I have two really easy classes and two tough ones. My easy classes are in Human Comm and Entrepreneurship. My tough classes are in History and Macroeconomics. I do still have an A in History but I have been studying so much for it. My Macro class on the other hand is kicking my butt. I study so much but still cant understand it. I think there is a reason why I am not a business major. lol. I have a C in that class but hopefully I can bring it up. Anyways extremely tired from hippo, will post later.

So how was the 50th???
The 50th Anniversary provided the SigEp's a busy yet fun-filled weekend. The banquet definitely surpassed my already high expectations. The dinner, the alumni recognition, the band, and the dances all enhanced the night. Unfortunately, the night drew to a close around midnight and we all headed back to SigEp. From there about 50 guys and their dates all went over to the Delta Gamma house for their pancake feed. The night ended soon after.
We woke the next morning and formed a team to participate in Delta Delta Delta's Putt for a Cure. This is a great philanthropy the Tri-Delts put on to help raise money for the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. St. Jude is America's second largest health-care charity that directs its attention towards the need of young children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. Patients of St. Jude are treated regardless of their ability to pay. Seeing as this philanthropic event was geared toward the finances of poor college student, Putt for the Cure offered miniature golf, lunch, and t-shirt for a mere $10 donation. According to the Tri-Delts the event was a huge success and I am glad SigEp was able to help participate in such a good cause.
After that I went to work then picked my dad up from the airport. I was only able to watch the second half of the UNC v Nova game. My bracket was absolutely horrible; I will finish prob around 120th out of 156 entries. Like I said; horrible. Anyway, I think this will be all for now. I hope everyone had as good of a weekend as I did.
Here are just a few pictures from the 50th...

Sigma Phi Epsilon presents its 50th Anniversary
Sorry it's been so long...
This weekend is my fraternities 50th anniversary (locally) and there are hundreds of alumni in town. Last night we performed our Hippodrome skit for the alumni and tonight is a really big formal/banquet. This is going to be a huge banquet as President Steve Shanklin, our Grand Chapter President, will be in attendance as well as 60 undergrads and over three hundred alumni. As for other events; we had a golf tournament this morning, a final four watch party tomorrow night, and Sunday we are having an "In Memoriam" honoring our deceased brothers.
President Shanklin will be coming by our house around 5 to hang out with us before the banquet. Needless to say we spend all of yesterday spot cleaning our house. Anyways, I need to get going. I will let you all know how tonight turns out tomorrow. Hope you all have a great weekend...

All Good Really Must Come to an End
So today marks the end of Spring Break. It was needed by I am glad it is over, especially because of the way I ended mine...
So most of you know I am a personal trainer at the YMCA and have just been shadowing other trainers for about a month. This weekend was the final PT certification needed to have clients of my own. You must think I am just thrilled after passing the test, but in reality I am just thrilled to be home, away from the Y. This past weekend we met from 5:30pm to 9pm on Friday and 8am to 6pm both Saturday and Sunday. This was probably the most mentally exhausting class or certification I have ever been through, so if there are typos you now know why. So needless to say when I got home I took a nap. I woke to only blog and get ready for my soccer game (if I make it). After this I have some reading to do for my history class. That is just a little recap of how I spent my last weekend of the most dearly treasured Spring Break. All is well though...

So most of you know I am a personal trainer at the YMCA and have just been shadowing other trainers for about a month. This weekend was the final PT certification needed to have clients of my own. A Much Needed Break
Alright so many of us are on spring break now and I am sure everyone is enjoying the time off; I know I am. I was so busy this past week with school, work, and hippodrome1. I had work at 5:00am all last week so you can bet I was ready for a week off of work and school. So far this break I have slept in until at least 12 everyday and it has been glorious. I will be cleaning all day today then maybe play some volleyball. The weather is absolutely perfect here; 70 and sunny, you cant ask for better weather during a break. Anyways, cant really think of anything else to write. Will write again soon.
How is your spring break going???? Comment back
1 Hippodrome is the longest tradition WSU has to offer; exceeding 50 years. It is a competition between different organizations on campus and there are 2 separate divisions. One fraternity and one sorority pair up and compete against the other fraternity/sorority pair and compete in division 1. Division 2 consists of whichever student organizations wish to participate. The competition is a play or skit, consisting of some acting but mostly coreographed dances. It really doesnt seem like much fun, but when you get to pair up and spend a lot of time with a sorority, it becomes a good time. Us, Sigma Phi Epsilon, and Gamma Phi Beta won it last year (the winner gets a 7 foot trophie), and we are with the lovely ladies of Delta Delta Delta this year. Come out and watch the shows April 16-18. Just comment back to this if you would like more information and I will let you know everything.

Birthday Surprise
This past weekend was my 20th birthday and although I didn't do very much at all, it was still a great weekend. The most exciting part of the weekend was a surprise visit from my older sister. Since her departure for college 4 years ago my sister and I have developed an inseparable bond. I was so excited she came I didn't even go out all weekend, but stayed at home to spend time with the fam. This is actually going to be a short post, I am tired and have more studying to do. I worked at 5am this morning and took 2 mid-terms today. I have another tomorrow and need to get back to studying. My spring break plans are sleeping, sleeping, and more sleeping; can't wait.
Will post more during break.

Wonderful Weekend
This weekend is going to be one of the best weekends all all semester due to a very dear friend/adopted fraternity father coming to town. My weekend actually started last night as he took myself and 20 other SigEps out to dinner at Outback Steakhouse. He is a SigEp alumni and teaches at Fort Hays. I love it when he comes into town because we always have a great time.
The shockers also kicked off their first weekend of home baseball games today. The shocker baseball season is one of my favorite times of the year. I absolutely love chilling out on the hill and watching the games, today was no exception. With the victory today the shockers improve their record to 3-1. They play again tomorrow at 2 and Sunday at 1.
With the visitation of my dear friend and the start of baseball season, this weekend will easily be the best of the semester.

Exciting New Job
So last week I started my new job as a personal trainer at the YMCA. So far I have had a lot of fun even though I am just shadowing as my training. I love helping others and this job will give me an excuse to work out. So far everyone seems really nice and very helpful when I ask questions. The one and only downside to my job is the commute. I live on the east side and the branch I work at is the North West Branch. Nearly 35 minutes when driving on the empty roads at 5 am. All is well though; I will trade a steady paycheck for a long commute any day. This is all for now. Let me know if any of you actually workout at the NW Branch, maybe during my break I can talk to you or answer any questions you might have about WSU.

Shocker Leadership Conference
On March 4, WSU is hosting a leadership conference for anyone in high school. This a great way to really inform yourself on how to be a leader not only in your classroom but in your community as well. I attended the conference last year and was just amazed at some of the information taught. This is on a Wednesday from 8:30 to 2, so not only will you be able to sleep in an extra half hour but you also will have an excuse to miss school for the day. The cost is $10 and registration is tomorrow (sorry for the short notice). You can register online at http://admissions.wichita.edu/events/sas/sasleadership.asp.
I was actually on the planning commitee this year so, not only will you have an opportunity to learn very valuable information but you will also have a chance to meet me. How exciting!! I hope to see everyone who reads these blogs to be there. It is definitely an opportunity you do not want to miss.
Hope to see you all at the conference

A Big Weekend
So this past Saturday was huge for Wichita State and SigEp. During the early afternoon the gentlemen of Sigma Phi Epsilon hosted a self defense class taught by women for women called TAKE defense. This was the second year our chapter hosted this philanthropy and it was a huge success. We advertised this event in all of our classes, our homes, and local high schools. Any woman age 12 and up could attend. We had twice as many women show up this year than we did last.
Immediately following the TAKE defense class WSU hosted seniors in high school and treated them to a basketball game, which Wichita State destroyed the Drake Bulldogs, dinner, a tour of the dorms, and an ice cream social to end the event. While touring the dorms these student could go to prospective rooms to learn about greek life, christian challenge, international affairs, or they could just go play video games in one of the lounge rooms. I think about 100 students from different cities such as Salina, Garden City, Bel Plaine, and many others showed up to this event and most enjoyed the visit, especially the game.
As soon as this was over, SigEp hosted our first official date party of the semester. The theme was camo and let me tell you, we really went above and beyond on the decorations. The entire house was blacked out with writings on the walls that showed with the black lights. We had camo nets on the ceiling and army stuff everywhere. It was a great way to kick off the semester. I had a lot of fun and cant wait for our next one.
Thats all for now.

Spring 09
With the second week of classes well under way, I at least have an idea of how I will fare in the them. By only taking 12 hours and being currently unemployed, I feel like I have will have plenty of time to dedicate to my classes. They all seem fairly easy with the exception of my history class. My teacher has a different way of addressing the lecture as well as lecturing. It will take some adjustments but should be easily taken care of. I start class at 8 am and finish by 1030 everyday. I am also taking a Wednesday night entrepreneurship class. The night class will be a pain as I will find it hard to concentrate at 7 pm for 3 hours. My other classes are communications and economics. I am knocking out some of my general education classes as I am currently caught between two different majors. Anyways, that is all for now. More on my classes later.

A Much Needed Break
So I start school tomorrow and have to say, I thouroughly enjoyed my break but am excited for a new semester to get started. I did not really do much of anything for break, just sat around and was lazy. I left town once to Lawrence and worked for the first half of it.
Break, to me, did not feel like a month long. I think its because I slept for most of it, not waking up until after one nearly everyday, haha. I worked nights at Chesters before my employment was terminated due to a miscommunication with a manager. I really did not mind as I really dispised working there. I am in need of a job once again but cant seem to find a place I think I will not only enjoy, but make good money as well. I emailed a few places, but have heard nothing back yet. I saved up a good deal of money while working for Chesters for 2 months so I should be fine for a little while. If anyone knows of a place hiring, let me know.
I left for Lawrence on Friday for the weekend. This was the first time I had ever been there. I honestly cant say I had a fun time. I think the expectation I had preceeding my visit was so great, it weakened the experience. I did enjoy seeing my old friends from high school though. I returned home this afternoon, just in time for my 7:00 fraternity meeting. I was so glad to be back in Wichita and to see all my fraternity brothers. Wichita is home, I dont think I could imagine living anywhere different.
It is getting late and I have 8:00 class tomorrow. Get excited for this new semester of blogs, they are sure to be entertaining. Thanks to all who read.
