Friday we had a home soccer game against rival K-State. We dominated the game, despite all of the rainfall. We quickly went up 2-0 in the first half, then the rain started pouring. It was miserable being on the sideline, I am out for a few more weeks with an ankle injury. I have not been to the doctor but I am pretty sure I dislocated it. It began to get real cold just standing there. We had 5 starters out this game with injuries. So the second half began and we continued to dominate, scored another goal then started to show signs of fatigue. With our bench not being very deep due to injuries our players did not get much rest. We broke down multiple times on defense but managed to hold them to only one goal. We have improved to 3-0 in the league and are looking to to head into regionals with a high seed. We play KU today. Wish us luck.

Weekend/Tests
So this weekend was so busy with soccer and football games that I had little time to study for my 3 tests I had on Monday. This weekend we went to Columbia, MO to play soccer on Saturday. With it being over a 5 hour drive we left Friday night. I went to the SigEp house there and had a good time with them. We played Truman University Sat afternoon and beat them 3-0. We then left for KC and went to a Wizards game. Stayed the night in KC with my sisters, went to the Chiefs game, then made it home late Sunday afternoon. Started studying around 10pm, went to bed after 7am, then after 1 hour of sleep took three tests then went to work, then meeting, then out. Crazy day... lol. Well I have to get to class. Later

WSU Soccer
Our game vs OSU did not go as well as we wanted. It was just a pre-season game so I am not worried about it. We blew a 2-1 lead and lost 3-2. One of our starters went down with a knee injury and might be out for the season. All will be well with me in the backfield though, lol. We play Washburn tomorrow afternoon and hope to start out the season with a W.
Quick summary of my life:
School is going fine so far. 18 hours is quit the workload but I am managing. I just transfered to East branch YMCA so working again will not be very much fun. I still do not have a car, so getting to work will impose a problem. I am glad I have 100 SigEp brothers I can rely on. Going to a BBQ now so will write again soon.

Intramural Softball
This week was the first week for intramurals and with the first sport being softball; I am pumped. We lost a bunch of seniors and have a promising group of freshmen. They are still learning the ropes of softball, but keep slipping back into their old baseball habits. We lost our first game to Phi Delt by one run in the third extra inning. We did win our second game 18-2 vs Kappa Sigma tho. I hit a grand slam in the last inning. We will be playing Phi Delt again next week and I will let you know how it goes. We will have practice this weekend, hopefully it pays off.
I will be in Stillwater, OK this weekend for a soccer game against OSU. I will let you know how that goes as well.
Have a good weekend,
Floyd
