PHOENIX

So I am sitting in my hotel room now in Phoenix wishing I was playing in the championship game later this afternoon. We did not advance out of pool play by one point. We played James Madison, UCLA, and Iowa State. I, once again, was sitting out with injury. I played in the first game and half of the second before coming out with a quad injury. I feel like I should stop playing but I don't really know what I would do if I didn't. My entire left leg is braced up, and can barely walk right now. I am coming back home after the championship game and will be in Wichita sometime around noon tomorrow.

Phoenix is an absolutely amazing city, it is 70 and sunny. We laid out by the pool all day yesterday in late NOVEMBER. Now how often do you get to do that in Kansas? Downtown was beautiful as well. Phoenix has quickly become one of my new favorite cities.

Pictures and more are soon to come.

This Saturday is SigEps formal. At formal we announce recipients of our awards. They include our sweetheart, which is given to a girl who would do anything for SigEp, are always hanging out with us and have a heart for SigEp. Other awards are the most brotherly brother, academic for 4.0, athletic, outstanding freshmen, outstanding sophomore, and outstanding upper classmen. This year the location is Rolling Hills Country Club. It will be a fun event and I have an awesome date. I need to go work on a project but will post again soon.

Finally, A Weekend to Myself

For the first time in 2 months or so, I will be staying home for an entire weekend. You have no idea how long I have awaited a relaxing weekend to myself, haha. I will be catching up on some homework this weekend as I have fallen behind with all these soccer trips. I have increased respect for the student athletes who are able to keep up on their studies. I have 3 projects/presentations due within the next 2 weeks and have not started any of them. I have A's in all of my classes so they should not be too bad. Let me know how your semester is going?
